
Maryland Wraps up Competition at Bison Outdoor Classic

Lewisburg, PA – On Day two of competition, the Terps put up great performances both on the track and in the field.
Graduate Student Alice Barnsdale led the way for the Terrapins as she took second place competing in the hammer throw, continuing to impress in her successful outdoor season.

Women's Notes

Alice Barnsdale took second place in the hammer throw, throwing to a mark of 59.66m. Kamryn Henderson (51.32m) and Sarah George also competed in the hammer throw.

Emma Pegg (2:13.61) and Mackenzie Morgan (2:13.66) both earned top ten finishes competing in the 800m.

Jessica Sutter threw to a mark of 41.33m in the javelin throw, earning a seventh place result. Lillian Hill also competed in the event for the Terps.

Kamryn Henderson and Sarah George also competed for the Terps in the shot put.

Jaiden Ritter sprinted to the line competing for the squad in the 200m dash.
Men's Notes

Jeff Kline threw to a mark of 17.74m in the shot put enroute to placing fourth in the event.

Drake Murphy earned a sixth place result in the 400m hurdles, as he hurdled to a 55.84s finish.

Chase McGeehan ran to a 1:54.71 finish in the 800m for the Terps squad. Maxwell Myers also competed in the event, racing to a 1:55.11 finish.

"Performances are building as the season continues to progress. We are trending in the right direction heading into some solid competitive opportunities in the upcoming weeks."

The Terrapins will travel to Charlottesville, VA to compete in the UVA Challenge next Friday and Saturday (4/22-23).
