Jaxon Smith Wins 92KG Title at Pan-Am Championships

OAXTEPEC, Mexico - Jaxon Smith won the 92KG title at the 2022 Pan-Am Championship on Sunday evening.
Competing in a round robin, Smith went 2-0 to win the championship. Smith rolled through Karanpreet Gill (Canada) in his first bout by 10-0 superiority. He took care of business in only 2:13.
He then defeated Juan Iturriza Ruiz (Mexico) by pinning him in under a minute.
It continues an incredible summer for Smith that sees him outscoring foes 54-2 in five bouts alongside the pin. He will next compete in the World Championships, which will take place August 15-21 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
