Hope Rose Named B1G Offensive Player of The Week

College Park, MD -- Maryland field hockey forward Hope Rose has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the Conference announced Tuesday.
Rose, who receives her first conference honor of the season,was a key offensive contributor for Maryland in two ranked wins over No. 14 Boston College and No. 18 Duke. Over those two games, Rose scored seven points on two goals and three assists. Including a one goal, two assist performance in a 7-2 Maryland victory over the Duke Blue Devils.
Maryland will return to action when they host the 22nd annual Terrapin Invitational and match-up with Harvard on Friday, Sept. 9 at 5 p.m.
