
Terps Finish 4-1 In Mexico With 4-2 Win Over NDSU

Trinity Schlotterbeck delivered on both sides of the ball, tallying two hits, a run, and an RBI at the plate, as well as throwing 5.1 innings in the circle, recording five shutout innings before giving way to Keira Bucher. Bucher recorded the final five outs of the game.
Maryland had 10 hits in the game, coming from seven different players. Mackense Greico and Michela Jones, along with Schlotterbeck led the way with two hits each. Kiley Goff and Taylor Liguori also drove in runs.
The Terps also showed out on the defensive side with great fielding plays by Campbell Kline, Cameron Davis and Sammi Woods.

Breaking Down The Action
- The Terps scored first off of a well-hit RBI single by Taylor Liguori. Schlotterbeck touched home after smashing a double and stealing third.
- Schlotterbeck drove in Greico in the third, adding to the Terps 2-0 lead.
- Jones' steal of home headlined Maryland's multi-run fourth stanza. Megan Mikami's fake bunt attempt threw off the NDSU pitcher, giving Jones enough time to score. Goff rolled a sacrifice grounder to drive in Woods, upping the score to 4-0.
- Kline made a blockbuster diving catch to keep the Bison scoreless going into the sixth.
- NDSU got two runs back off of a double in the sixth. Maryland reliever Bucher came in clutch, stranding the tying run to hold the score at 4-2.
