LINCOLN, NE – After rallying from a deficit as large as nine points to take a lead midway through the second half, the Terps weren't able to finish the comeback with a victory as Maryland lost to Nebraska, 70-66 in overtime, on Sunday evening. The Terps' defense tightened up and forced Nebraska into eight consecutive missed shots from the floor as Maryland extended its run to 17-2 as Hart nailed back-to-back triples as Nebraska didn't make a field goal for eight minutes.
In overtime, Young's free throws with 2:54 left and Hart's dunk gave the Terps a 64-61 lead.
Sam Greisel's layup with 1:23 left regained the lead for Nebraska at 65-64. Then Sam Hoiberg scored on a steal and layup with 31 seconds left to put the Huskers up 67-64. Hoiberg added two more free throws to seal the game.

What They Are Saying
From Head Coach Kevin Willard: "(Nebraska) made big plays when they needed some big plays and we had our opportunities. I love Jahmir shot at the end of regulation but you know give them credit you know. I knew this was going to be a tough one no matter what. They're playing good basketball. I thought we did a great job defending the three-point line I just you know, we had too many, too many turnovers at crucial times.
"I still don't know what happened at the end of overtime with only down one but I have to go back and watch that but I just thought you know, again with the way we came out offensively on the road."
