LINCOLN, Neb. — No. 21 Maryland gymnastics had a strong showing at the Big Five meet on Friday night, posting a 194.475 team score. The Terps placed fifth overall, as Michigan won the team competition with a 197.100, followed by Iowa with 196.925, Illinois with 196.825 and Penn State with a 196.100.

Emma Silberman scored a 38.975 all-around score, with a 9.850 on vault, a 9.650 on bars, a 9.625 on beam and a 9.850 on floor.

Alexa Rothenbuescher posted a 9.900 on the floor, which was tied for third place in the event. Josephine Kogler tied for third place on beam with a 9.900.

Next, the Terps travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the Temple Quad against Temple, Towson and West Chester on Thursday, March 2, at 4:00 p.m. The meet will be available on ESPN+ with updates available @TerpsGymnastics on Twitter.
