
Terps Win Temple Quad Meet With 196.600

PHILADELPHIA, PA — No. 25 Maryland Gymnastics posted its second-highest road score of the year on Thursday, posting a 196.600 to take first place at the Temple Quad. Towson finished second with 196.050, ahead of the host Owls (194.900) and West Chester (194.225).
Josephine Kogler (9.875) and Olivia Weir (9.850) set season highs on vault, as Maryland totaled a 49.300 in that event, a season-high for the Terps.
Four Terps scored at least a 9.825 on floor, with Reese McClure's 9.875 leading the way. Tayler Osterhout posted a season-high 9.825 as Maryland placed first in that event.
Tasha Brozowski posted a career-high 9.875 on bars, which tied for the team lead with Rhea LeBlanc. Brozowski made an immediate impact in her first appearance in the bars rotation this season, powering the Terps to the event crown with a 49.300.
The Terps return home on Sunday to host the Terp Quad, where they will compete against New Hampshire, Brown and Penn. The action starts at 1 p.m. at XFINITY Center and can be seen on Big Ten Plus.
