No. 25 Terps Win Terrapin Quad With Season-High 196.950 On Senior Day

COLLEGE PARK, MD — No. 25 Maryland Gymnastics posted it's highest team score of the year on Sunday, recording a 196.950 to take first place at the Terrapin Quad on Senior Night. New Hampshire finished second with 195.600, ahead of Penn(195.100) and Brown (194.600). Sunday was Senior Night at XFINITY Center as six Seniors, Austynn Lacasse, Sophia LeBlanc, Aleka Tsiknias, Alexsis Rubio, Emma Silberman and Reese McClure were all honored before the meet.
Alexsis Rubio topped the Terps on Vault with a new career-high 9.925, leading the meet. Reese McClure followed Rubio with a 9.850 as the Terps compiled a 49.225 as a team with four gymnasts posting higher than a 9.825.
On Bars, Aleka Tsiknias posted a 9.900 with Victoria Gatzendorfer recoding a season-high 9.875 as the team posted a 48.900.
The Terps were stunning on beam, posting a season-high 49.300 as a team. Madeline Komoroski led the way, matching her career-high with a 9.900 on the event.
