COLLEGE PARK, MD. - The University of Maryland softball team will open up Big Ten play on the road this weekend in Bloomington, IN to take on the Indiana Hoosiers. The series opener on Friday night has pushed postponed until Saturday due to inclement weather. Maryland will now play two games on Saturday, the first one beginning at noon and the second one beginning 30 minutes after the completion of the first game. The Terps and the Hoosiers will play the series finale on Sunday at noon. The first game on Saturday will be on BTN. Sunday's game will be streamed in B1G+.Andy Mohr Field

- Indiana has opened up its 2023 season with a 19-9 overall record, entering the season on a 12 game win streak.
- This weekend marks the second weekend of the season in which the Hoosiers will be at home. Indiana played five of their six tournaments on the road.
