- The Terps have won five games in a row, outscoring its opponents 82-34 over that stretch. Freshman Kori Edmondson has led the Maryland offense during the winning streak, tallying 17 goals and 20 points, earning Freshman and Midfielder of the Week honors on March 21. The No. 1 freshman in the country has a hat-trick in six straight games.
- Junior Eloise Clevenger has 14 points over the last two games (six goals, eight assists) to lead Maryland to a pair of road wins at #22 Rutgers and #24 Penn. Against Rutgers, Clevenger set a career-high with eight points (three goals, five assists) to pace the Maryland offense.
- Goalie Emily Sterling has also been tremendous during Maryland's four game winning streak, tallying 44 saves to only 33 goals allowed, a .564 save percentage. The senior tallied 15 saves to only four goals allowed in the Terps win over Georgetown, the best save percentage (.789) of her career, earning her Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors.

50th Season of maryland women's lacrosse
- The 2023 season will be the 50th season of Maryland women's lacrosse, a program that has been the most successful in the entire sport since its start.
- Maryland has won 15 national championships and 31 conference championships. The Terps have participated in 28 Final Fours, including 12 of the last 13 and have won 12 of the last 28 national championships, including seven-straight from 1995-2001. Maryland has an all-time program record of 767-153-3 through 49 seasons.

Emily Sterling returns as the National Goalkeeper of the Year to backline the Maryland defense in 2023. She finished the year second in the nation in both save percentage (.531) and goals against average (7.87) and had the highest save percentage ever in Big Ten play at .626.
Sterling has 44 saves to only 33 goals allowed over the last four games, a .594 save percentage and was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on March 21. .

- Maryland has been dominant on the draw circle through 11 games, standing with the second-best draw control percentage in the nation, winning 63.5-percent of all draw controls this season. The Terps have recorded 16.64 draw controls per game this season, the 10th-best mark in the nation. Shaylan Ahearn stands fourth in the country and leads the Big Ten with 82 draw controls.
- In the Terps game against Drexel, Shaylan Ahearn became only the sixth Terp in program history to surpass the 200 career draw control mark with 14. In the Terps last game against #24 Penn, Ahearn had the second best draw control mark of her career with 13 to move into fourth all-time in program history with 264, surpassing Karri Ellen Johnson (2008-12).
- Ahearn tallied 115 draw controls last season, the eighth-most in a single season in program history.
- Another Terp, Abby Bosco, also eclipsed the 200 draw control mark at Villanova and now has 214 in her career. 133 of those have come as a Terp, 81 at Penn, where she played from 2018-21.

- Maryland is 163-6 at home under head coach Cathy Reese, with nine undefeated home campaigns in the last 11 seasons (2013, '14, '15, '16, '17, '18, '19, '21).
- Last time the Terps played in SECU Stadium (2019), Maryland went 11-0, including wins over No. 3 North Carolina, No. 4 Syracuse, No. 7 Michigan and No. 8 Penn.
- The Terps have never lost a conference home game under Reese, going undefeated in each of her 16 seasons.

- Head Coach Cathy Reese enters her 17th season at the helm of Maryland women's lacrosse. The winningest coach in program history, Reese is 310-37 as head coach and has led the Terps to five National Championships, 12 Final Fours and 22 Conference Championships.

- The Terps lead the all-time series against Penn, 33-8. Maryland has won 15-straight against Princeton dating back to when Cathy Reese became head coach in 2007.
- The Terps had an offensive outburst last season to beat Princeton 19-9 in New Jersey led by five goals apiece from Aurora Cordingley and Hannah Leubecker. Maryland fell behind 3-0 early in the contest before scoring nine of the last 11 goals of the half and 19 of the last 25 in the game to win handedly.
- Graduate student Marge Donovan will face her former team for the first time on Wednesday. The All-American defender spent five seasons at Princeton and graduated as their all-time leader in career draw controls (214) and draws in a season (112 in 2022). Last season, she was the Ivy League Defender of the Year.
