- The Terps have won eight games in a row, outscoring its opponents 123-64 over that stretch. Maryland has scored over 13 goals in every game of their win streak and has held each opponent to less than 12 goals.
- Maryland is coming off a dramatic 13-12 win over Johns Hopkins, where down 11-10, the Terps rattled off three-straight goals to win the game. Midfielder Shaylan Ahearn, attacker Libby May and midfielder Kori Edmondson all scored to give Maryland their eighth-straight win.
- Goalie Emily Sterling has also been tremendous during Maryland's seven game winning streak, tallying 77 saves to only 64 goals allowed, a .546 save percentage. The senior has 48 saves in the Terps last four home games and was this week selected as the IWLCA National Defensive Player of the Week and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.

50th Season of maryland women's lacrosse
- The 2023 season will be the 50th season of Maryland women's lacrosse, a program that has been the most successful in the entire sport since its start.
- Maryland has won 15 national championships and 31 conference championships. The Terps have participated in 28 Final Fours, including 12 of the last 13 and have won 12 of the last 28 national championships, including seven-straight from 1995-2001. Maryland has an all-time program record of 770-153-3 through 49 seasons.

- The Terps will honor their 2023 senior class before the game as they play in their last regular season home game. Sophia Antonopoulous and defenders Abby Bosco, Marge Donovan and Maddie Sanchez will all be honored.

- Maryland has been dominant on the draw circle through 14 games, standing with the fourth-best draw control percentage in the nation, winning 62.5 percent of all draw controls this season. The Terps have recorded 16.57 draw controls per game this season, the 14th-best mark in the nation. Shaylan Ahearn stands 6th in the country and leads the Big Ten with 95 draw controls.
- In the Terps game against Drexel, Shaylan Ahearn became only the sixth Terp in program history to surpass the 200 career draw control mark with 14. In the Terps game against #24 Penn, Ahearn had the second best draw control mark of her career with 13 to move into fourth all-time in program history with 269, surpassing Karri Ellen Johnson (2008-12). Ahearn now has 277 career draw controls.
- Ahearn tallied 115 draw controls last season, the eighth-most in a single season in program history.
- Another Terp, Abby Bosco, also eclipsed the 200 draw control mark at Villanova and now has 231 in her career. 150 of those have come as a Terp, 81 at Penn, where she played from 2018-21.

- Maryland is 166-6 at home under head coach Cathy Reese, with nine undefeated home campaigns in the last 11 seasons (2013, '14, '15, '16, '17, '18, '19, '21).
- Last time the Terps played in SECU Stadium (2019), Maryland went 11-0, including wins over No. 3 North Carolina, No. 4 Syracuse, No. 7 Michigan and No. 8 Penn.
- The Terps have never lost a conference home game under Reese, going undefeated in each of her 16 seasons.

- Head Coach Cathy Reese enters her 17th season at the helm of Maryland women's lacrosse. The winningest coach in program history, Reese is 313-37 as head coach and has led the Terps to five National Championships, 12 Final Fours and 22 Conference Championships.

- Maryland leads the all-time series with Ohio State 16-2 and has won seven-straight against the Buckeyes dating back to 2015.
- The Terps defeated Ohio State 14-8 last seson after holding the Buckeyes scoreless in the second half, ending the game on a 7-0 run. Emily Sterling led the defensive effort that held Ohio State to only four shots and zero goals in the second half. Sterling ended the game on a six save run without allowing a goal over the last 35 minutes of play.
