Why Maryland?: "I chose Maryland because the culture of excellency that is being built within this program is unmatched. I identify with the vision that this program and those who are a part of it have to build a lasting legacy while also creating an environment where their students athletes feel seen, heard, and respected. After spending time on campus, I felt so welcome by this program and knew the right decision was to become a part of the Terp family!"
Head coach Meg Nemzer: Lauren is a player that will make an immediate impact in our program on and off the field. She is a tenacious and mobile midfielder that loves to have the ball at her feet. Most importantly, Lauren is a tremendous human being and someone that I have known for many years. I am looking forward to working with her for the next few years. Her experience competing for championships at the club level, and last year competing for a national championship, will be an invaluable addition to our talented 2023 team.
