COLLEGE PARK, Md. - After a three-week hiatus in play due to the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship, the PLL returned to action in full force with another entertaining slate of games that former Terps had their handprints all over.
The weekend started on Saturday night as the Waterdogs came away with a 10-7 win over the Chrome before the Cannons topped the Atlas 19-12. On Sunday afternoon, the Redwoods defeated the Chaos 13-8 and the Arches wrapped everything up with a 15-12 win.
Even with four Team USA Terps (Jesse Bernhardt, Michael Ehrhardt, Connor Kelly and Matt Rambo) on the PUP list this week, there were Terps making their mark in each of the four games. Some of the top highlights included Anthony DeMaio's first career professional goal, a highlight-reel check by Jake Higgins and a Mike Chanenchuk hat trick.
Action will resume on Friday, July 14 when the games move to Fairfield, CT for the weekend.
Below is a full breakdown of all the Pro Terps' performances from the past weekend.
Brett Makar continued to start as a rookie, now playing LSM in the pros, and finished with a groundball.
Jonathan Donville tallied a career-best four points on three goals and an assist in a 19-point team effort for the Cannons. SSDM Bubba Fairman tied for a team-high with three caused turnovers and also notched an assist.
