Terrapins to Compete in Molly Collegiate Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The No. 30-ranked Maryland women's golf team will compete in the Molly Collegiate Invitational this week at the Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, Calif.
The teams will play 36 holes Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 11:30 am ET. They will play 18 holes Tuesday. Live scoring will be available here.
Senior Patricie Mackova, fifth-year Maria Vittoria Corbi, graduate student Virginia Bossi, junior Panassaya Somchit and sophomore Nicha Kanpai will compete for the Terrapins.
The Terrapins are one of 12 teams competing, including tournament hosts California and Oregon, Oregon State, Kansas, Georgia Southern, Washington State, Rutgers, Delaware, San Jose State, UC Irvine and CSU Monterey Bay.
In their last competition, the Terrapins finished in fourth out of 15 teams competing in the Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. Kanpai tied for ninth to lead the Terps.
Maryland was ranked No. 30 in Golfweek's collegiate poll released earlier this week.
