COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland cross country team heads to Annapolis this Saturday to compete in the Navy Invitational. The women's 6K is set to start at 10 A.M.at
Navy Invitational
The Terps are coming off of an impressive start to the season when they competed in the Baltimore Metro Meet and were crowned champions in the women's 5K. The team had three of the top five finishers in the event with Anna Coffin, Rose Coats, and Katie Altieri finishing second, third, and fourth respectively.
In addition to this, every Terp who finished the event placed in the top 30 of the race that had 90 finishers, including Sophia Zell and Katie Turk who rounded out the 5 Terp scorers for the event and both finished in the top 10. Rubie Goffena and Hannah Mack both raced to impressive top 20 finishes as well.
