MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. -- The No. 21 Maryland Gymnastics team scored a 195.600 and dropped its first meet of the season to No. 17 Minnesota, who notched 196.725.
The Terps began the meet on bars where Sierra Kondo recorded the top score with a 9.850. On the vault, Natalie Martin and Josephine Kogler tied for the Terps' top marks with a pair of 9.825s.
On floor, Alexa Rothenbuescher had another strong showing, notching the top score across events for the Terps with a 9.875. Maryland finished the meet on beam with another strong performance from Martin, who recorded a 9.850 to tie with Madeline Komoroski for Maryland' best mark on that event.
