NEW YORK, NY - The Maryland track and field team wrapped up their weekend at the Dr. Sanders Invitational on Saturday. The day was highlighted by graduate students
Anna Coffin and
Chioma Njoku, and freshman
Jennessa Wolfe.

Coffin earned her way into the number two spot all-time in the women's 3000m, where she previously held the fifth spot. Coffin ran a seven second personal best to finish in 9:31.58.

Wolfe cleared 1.75m in the women's high jump, which puts her in a tie for tenth all-time in Maryland history in just her second collegiate start.Â

Njoku tossed 19.19m in the women's weight throw, which was good for a second place finish in an impressive field.Â

Other Highlights
- Both Eric Albright and Matt Dehaas secured top-ten finishes in the men's 800m, with Albright finishing in third and Dehaas in ninth. Albright notched a time of 1:51.03 which is his second best indoor mark in the event.Â
- Freshman Sam Ford finished fourth in the men's 400m
- Emmi Simon set a new personal best and went sub-five minutes for the first time in the women's mile finishing in 4:59.05
- Andrew Harmon finished in the top-ten in the men's weight throw
- Kami Joi Hickson finished seventh in the 800m, shaving a second from last week's time in 2:11.35.
- Armanie Coleman won her heat in the 200m with a time of 25.05
- Rubie Goffena set a new personal best in the women's 3000m and Katie Turk had a strong opener. Â
