Men's Lacrosse Announces 2024 Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Head coach John Tillman has announced the Maryland men's lacrosse program's 2024 schedule. The Terps will play another highly-competitive slate, with seven of their 12 regular season games coming against teams that made the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
Eleven of 12 of Maryland's opponents are teams the Terps faced last year. Additionally, the Terps will face three teams that made the 2023 Final Four in Notre Dame, Virginia and Penn State.
The Terrapins open the season on the road at Richmond on Feb. 3. Maryland will host its home opener the following Saturday when Loyola comes to College Park on Feb. 10.
The Terps will travel to Syracuse on Feb. 17 and then return home on Feb. 24 to host Princeton.
Next up, the Terps will travel to South Bend, IN to battle the defending National Champions Notre Dame on Sunday, March 3.
Maryland will wrap up its non-conference schedule with two home games, first against Brown on March 9 and then against Virginia on March 16.
Maryland opens its Big Ten schedule with a pair of road games at Michigan on March 23 and at Penn State on Sunday, March 31.
Next, the Terps will play a pair of home conference games at SECU Stadium against Ohio State on April 6 and at Rutgers on April 13 before closing the regular season against rival Johns Hopkins on April 20 at Homewood Field.
The Big Ten Tournament begins on April 27 with quarterfinals on campus followed by the semifinals and championship game at Ohio State in Columbus, OH on May 2 and 4, respectively.
The NCAA Tournament begins with games on May 11 and 12 on campus. The NCAA Quarterfinals will be held at Hofstra and Towson on May 18 and 19. The semifinals and final will be played in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field on May 25 and 27, respectively.
The schedule is subject to change. Game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
Single-game tickets will go on sale Jan. 24. Maryland Pride Passes can be purchased now for access to general admission seating at all home men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, wrestling and baseball events.
