Terps Lose At Wisconsin

MADISON, WI – Maryland women's soccer was defeated by Wisconsin, 5-0, on Oct. 20 at the Dan McClimon Memorial Track/Soccer Complex. Maryland sits at 4-10-4 overall and 1-7-1 in Big Ten play.  

Senior goalkeeper Liz Beardsley finished the game with two saves. She ranks second in the Big Ten with 67 saves.

The Badgers improved to 8-3 overall and 4-2-3 in conference play.  The Terps wrap up their 2024 regular season at Rutgers on Oct. 27.

  • Wisconsin had an early shot opportunity in the fourth minute that missed wide left.
  • The Badgers scored an early rebound goal in the seventh minute, taking a 1-0 lead.
