Kickoff for th match is slated for Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m and will air on B1G+. Series History - Rutgers Maryland is 7-8-2 all-time vs. the Scarlet Knights. The series dates back to 1989 with seven matches taking place prior to both schools joining the Big Ten in 2014. The Terrapins were 5-1-1 in those non-conference meetings. Since joining the Big Ten, Rutgers is 7-2-1 against Maryland. Maryland and Rutgers have met 17 times in the series. Rutgers holds a slight lead in the series, with a record of 8-7-2. The two programs met last season in College Park, with Maryland falling short in a 1-0 loss. Ringing the Bell Twice Kennedy Bell's two-goal performance in the Terps' 4-0 win over VCU on Sept. 8 was the first time a Terp scored twice in a game since Lisa McIntyre scored twice against James Madison on Aug. 27, 2023. Bell opened the scoring in the 5th minute, finishing a scramble inside the 8-meter. She added her second of the day less than two minutes later on a breakaway off of a beautifully paced through-ball from Peyton Bernard. Bell is the first Terp to score twice in the first half of a match since teammate Ava Morales found the net twice in the opening 45 minutes at Purdue on Oct. 23, 2022. Emily Lenhard got on the scoresheet in a big way in Maryland's 1-1 draw with James Madison on Aug. 25. Lenhard took a corner for the Terrapins in the 83rd minute, scoring from the corner spot for an Olimpico. The goal was the first of her collegiate career, and came on her lone shot of the game. Lenhard has played in 16 games and made 10 starts for the Terps in 2024. Lenhard also leads the Terps with three assists on the season. Following Lenhard is the quartet of Kennedy Bell, Ellie Egeland, Ava Morales, and Kelsey Smith who all have two assists. Lenhard picked up two assists in Maryland's game against George Mason, which is the first time in almost two years that a Maryland women's soccer player picked up two assists in a game. The last player to accomplish the feat was Catherine DeRosa, who had two assists back on September 4, 2022 against George Mason. Ava Morales picked up her first collegiate assist this season, coming Maryland's 2-0 season-opening win over Lehigh. Morales picked up her second assist of the campaign against Stony Brook back on August 18. Smith joined the multiple-assist club with two against Nebraska on Oct. 13. The assists were also the first in Smith's collegiate career. Emily Lenhard leads the Terps with three assists. Lenhard had two assists in Maryland's game against George Mason, which was the first time in almost two years that a Terp had two assists in a game. Going Back-To-Back With her 22nd minute goal against Towson on Sept. 5, Taryn Raibon scored in consecutive games for the Terps. Raibon's two goals this season are tied for the second-most on the team with Kelsey Smith and Delaney DeMartino. The last time a Terp scored in consecutive games was last season, when Ava Morales scored in third-straight games. Morales' streak last season Sept. 3 against Towson, and continued with goals against George Mason (Sept. 7, 2023) and at Binghamton (Sept. 10, 2023). Taryn Raibon scored in consecutive games for the Terps against George Mason and Towson. This marked the second season in a row that a Terps player scored in consecutive games.
