COLLEGE PARK, MD – With the 2024-25 Maryland men's basketball season just over three weeks away from starting, the Big Ten Conference announced today its league-wide television assignments as well as tip-off times.
In addition to coverage by the Big Ten Network and FS1, a pair of Maryland games will be carried nationally on CBS and FOX, while the Villanova and Syracuse games will be on ESPN and ESPN2, respectively. Two games will also appear on Peacock, while three non-conference match-ups will be streamed on BTN+.
The season will begin on Monday, Nov. 4 as Maryland hosts Manhattan. The tip will be slated for 7 PM on B1G+.
Maryland's national broadcasts include the Jan. 10 game against UCLA at XFINITY Center which will be an 8 PM tip on FOX. Additionally, the Terps game at Indiana on Jan. 26 will be a Noon tip on CBS.
A total of 17 games will be on BTN, while five others will be shown on FS1. The Terps game against Marquette on Nov. 15 will tip at 8 PM on FS1.

The Terps' returning players are highlighted by rising senior
Julian Reese, rising sophomore
DeShawn Harris-Smith, and fifth-year senior
Jordan Geronimo. Maryland has one of the top incoming transfer classes in the Big Ten:
Ja'Kobi Gillespie (Belmont),
Selton Miguel (South Florida),
Rodney Rice (Virginia Tech) and
Tafara Gapare (Georgia Tech). Additionally, the Terps signed five-star McDonald's All-American
Derik Queen (Baltimore) and four-star guard
Malachi Palmer (Harrisburg, Pa.).
Season tickets and mini-plan options for the 2024-25 season are now on. Maryland Young Alumni (those who graduated within the last five years) receive a 48 percent discount on season tickets, while current Maryland Parents who have a student enrolled for the year are eligible for a 20 percent discount on two season tickets.
All games will air on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday calling the action alongside Chris Knoche and Walt Williams.
