Terps Take On Rutgers Wednesday In Big Ten Tournament

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Twelfth-seeded Maryland will open the 2024 TIAA Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday, March 13 against 13-seed Rutgers.
The game will tip at 6:30 PM ET and will be streamed on Peacock. Fans can also listen on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday calling the action alongside Chris Knoche and Walt Williams.
Maryland split the season series against Rutgers falling at home (53-56) in early February before picking up a road win (63-46) two weeks ago.
All-time, Maryland leads the series against the Scarlet Knights, 14-8, though the two teams have split a pair of neutral site games. This will mark the first time the two have faced each other in the Big Ten Tournament.
The winner of the opening round match-up will face fifth-seeded Wisconsin on Thursday at approximately 2:30 PM ET on BTN.
