last game recap
  • Maryland wrapped up their Tuesday match-up against Virginia with a huge victory 2-1 in dramatic fashion.
  • After being down one the whole game, Sydney Lewis would be the hero for the Terps in the six inning.  In the bottom of the sixth, Lewis's two-run home run would carry the Terps to a victory against former ACC foe Virginia.
  • Maryland received solid outings in the circle from Bri Godfrey and Courtney Wyche, but couldn't match Virginia's early run in the game.

  • Megan Mikami would go 2-for-3 with a triple and with her fourth stolen base of the season she would break the school's record for most stolen bases in a career.  This would be Mikami's 30th career multi-hit game.
