COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's golf team will compete in the Texas Showdown this week at the Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas. 

The Terps will tee off at 8:00 a.m. CT Monday and will play 36 holes. The low four scores of the five counts as the team total. For the individual championship, co-champions will be declared. On Tuesday, there will be two rounds of match play. The top 4 seeds from stroke play will play off for championship. The bottom 4 teams will play off for 5th place. Fifth-years Maria Vittoria Corbi and Virginia Bossi, senior Patricie Mackova, junior Panassaya Somchit, sophomore Nicha Kanpai will compete for the Terps.

The Terrapins will compete against tournament-host SMU, Baylor, BYU, Kansas, Texas State, UCF and UNLV.
