Eloise Clevenger Named Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Senior attacker Eloise Clevenger earned Solomon Eye Terp of the Week for her stellar performance during the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

Clevenger added 10 points on the weekend, including a season-high eight points against James Madison, to advance the Terps to the NCAA Quarterfinals. The senior captain tallied seven goals and three assists to help Maryland outscore its opponents 34-8 in the first and second rounds. Clevenger set a new career-high five goals, in addition to three assists, against the Dukes on Sunday.

The Woodstock, Maryland native, moved to fourth all-time in single season assists with 52. She is tied with current director of player development Alex Aust Holman (2012). Additionally, Clevenger ranks fourth in program history in career assists at 131, only one assist behind Aust Holman and Kelly Amonte (1993-96).

Clevenger and the No. 4-seeded Terps will be back in action this Thursday for the NCAA Quarterfinal against Florida, starting at 12:00 p.m. on ESPNU. Click to get tickets.
