COLLEGE PARK, MD – After a standout two-year career with Maryland, Jahmir Young signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night. Young, who was named to the 2024 Portsmouth Invitational All-Tournament Team, held preseason workouts with 14 NBA teams prior to the draft.
Young finished the season garnering several postseason honors: NABC All-District 7 First Team, All-Big Ten First Team, Associated Press All-Big Ten Second Team. He was also selected to the All-Big Ten Second Team by the coaches and named as Maryland's Sportsmanship Award honoree.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum salary NBA contract with a specific Exhibit 10 attachment built into it and no other bonuses. These attachments are not present in every NBA contract, only deals in which both parties have agreed to include it. Exhibit 10 attachments allow the NBA team to convert a player's one-year, minimum contract into a two-way contract but this has to occur prior to the start of the regular season. These one-year deals are often non-guaranteed, which lets NBA teams waive the player and remove their cap hit from the team payroll.

Ultra-productive every step of his journey from Charlotte to Maryland to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament — adaptable, well-rounded guard.
Will compete for an open two-way slot.
