SPARKS, MD - Athletes Unlimited Professional Women's Lacrosse League is through its second week of the 2024 season.
The third week of games begins on Thursday, August 1. Maryland has players on three different squads. Grace Griffin, Emily Sterling, Abby Bosco and Marge Donovan will don gold jerseys for Team Apuzzo. In blue will be Lizzie Colson and Megan Douty for Team Kennedy. Meghan Ball and Erica Evans will rep the purple uniforms for Team North.

TEAM APUZZO (PURPLE)Â
Grace Griffin ranks eighteenth with 573 points. She added three goals, including a season high two goals in game four. Additionally, Griffin tallied two assists, five ground balls and one draw control.Â
Megan Douty sits in eleventh overall after tallying 359 points in three games to add to her season total of 642. She caused six turnovers for the second consecutive week and grabbed a ground ball.

TEAM READÂ (orange)
Lizzie Colson clinched 280 points in week two, adding to her season total, 509. She had a season-best performance in game six with eight draw controls, two caused turnovers and one ground ball.Â
Emily Sterling continues to grow in her rookie season. She owns 392 points after two weeks.

TEAM MORENOÂ (blue)
There were no former Maryland players on Team Moreno for week two.Â
TEAM McCool (GOLD)
Meghan Ball showed out in week two adding to her season total, 327 points. She tallied eight caused turnovers and seven ground balls in three games. She posted a season-high three caused turnovers in games four and six.
Erica Evans scored three goals, including two in game five for a season total six goals. She has 254 points after two weeks.Â
Abby Bosco had a strong week on defense. She grabbed four ground balls, three caused turnovers and three draw controls. Bosco owns a season total 368 points ahead of week three.
Marge Donovan collected 58 points as a defender from one caused turnover and one ground ball. She owns a season point total of 217.
