Instagrammable Moments
A new massive mural has been added at SECU Stadium! Check out the new "Welcome to Terpsville" mural, located under Tyser Tower behind Section 27. This new "Instagrammable Moment" joins the others previously installed at SECU Stadium: A "Maryland Made" mural on the concourse behind Section 13 and a "Go Terps" mural behind Section 20. Fans can also take photos with our giant T-E-R-P-S letters located at Terp Alley during pregame and on the West Concourse after kickoff. 3... 2... 1… Say, "Go Terps!"
JUUCE & JUICE!
New this year, JUUCE charging stations will be available inside Gate I and on the West Concourse, so you'll never have to worry about your phones running out of battery throughout the game.
Additionally,
Jersey Mike's College Football 2024 Tailgate Tour will arrive in town for the Northwestern game on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 PM. Make sure you stop by to sample some fresh sliced subs, get some pregame "juice" for your phones, lounge in Adirondack chairs, play lawn games, and score some free giveaways! Â
Kids Activities
Members of
Testudo's Kids Club have the opportunity to be selected as the Testudo's Kids Club Kickoff Captain prior to every home football game! Prior to each game, the Kickoff Captain will join Testudo on the field to be recognized on the video board.
Also, don't miss out on taking a photo with everyone's favorite mascot, Testudo! Testudo will be roaming around campus all gameday, making stops in the parking lots, greeting the team at Terp Alley, and, of course, joining fans in the stadium for kickoff.
Lights
Maryland Athletics unveiled a new state-of-the-art LED lighting system at SECU Stadium last season. Provided by Musco Lighting, the custom-designed Total Light Control—TLC for LED™ system provides clean, elevated light levels on the field, and is equipped with color-changing lights and a variety of Show-Light Pro Venue® special effects features. A choreographed LED lighting sequence has been added to key moments during home games at SECU Stadium. These moments will include the team's intro sequence prior to kickoff, key in-game situations (i.e. Maryland touchdowns, defensive takeaways, etc.), and in conjunction with other special elements during commercial timeouts. With at least one home night game already confirmed for the 2024 season, you won't want to miss this!

The
Maryland Marketplace, one of the first licensed school Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) marketplaces in college sports, is available for student-athletes. The Opendorse-powered marketplace will maximize NIL support for Terrapin student-athletes. Realignment
The Big Ten Conference continued to position itself as one of the top conferences in the nation. Earlier this summer, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington joined the league. Additionally, the new 18-team Big Ten will not have divisions. Maryland will host USC for Homecoming on October 19 and travel to Oregon on November 9.
Speakers and Sound
Enjoy a completely upgraded audio experience at Maryland football. In 2021, additional speakers were added to the under balconies of Tyser and the North upper deck. Follow the game action and jam to the Terrapin Tunes through 107 new speakers that have been added to the stadium.
TESTUDO PREMIUM LAGER
Maryland Athletics has partnered with UNION Craft Brewing to launch Testudo Premium Lager, the official craft beer of the Maryland Terrapins. The beer will debut at SECU Stadium for the home opener as well as retail locations across the state in August. Testudo Premium Lager can be found throughout the concourse at every game.
The beer draws inspiration from the legendary Maryland mascot. For nearly a century, Testudo has been an enduring symbol of the university's history and pride. Cans of Testudo depict a vintage Testudo logo, made popular during the late 1980s and 1990s.

Video Board
Maryland debuted the largest video board in the Big Ten, and one of the largest in the nation during the 2021 season. The 120 foot-by-54-foot display in the West end zone (adjacent to the Stadium Drive garage) is six times larger than the previous board. The 28x30 board at the other end of the field has been significantly upgraded as well. Both displays are in full HD 1080p, with a pixel pitch (the space between LED bulbs) reduced from 25 millimeters to 10 millimeters to drastically improve clarity.
Want to see your name on the big screen? Scoreboard messages start at just $25! Submit your request at
