Schnitta Earns Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD. -- Each week during the 2024-25 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week's Terp of the Week is Samantha Schnitta from volleyball.
Schnitta and the Terps return to action on Friday, September 13 as they host Lehigh at 6 p.m. in The Pavilion. The match will air on B1G+. Tickets can be purchased here.
This week's Terp of the Week is Samantha Schnitta from volleyball.
Schnitta recorded 48 kills in three days, as the Terps went 3-0 on the weekend. She had a season high hitting percentage of .611 against Alabama A&M on Friday, followed by a season-high 21 kills and 10 digs against American on Saturday. Schnitta also tied her career-high in aces against the Eagles with five.
