- Maryland is coming off a close 79-74 loss to No. 4 USC Wednesday in College Park. The game was tied with under 2:00 to play, then a late run by the Trojans sealed the win. Shyanne Sellers led the Terps with a season-high 26 points, Kaylene Smikle added 16 and Christina Dalce scored 15 with 12 boards. Saylor Poffenbarger grabbed 17 rebounds.

Kaylene Smikle was named Co-Big Ten Player of the Week Monday for her fourth career weekly honor. She averaged 19.3 points, 4.0 rebounds with 11 steals in three wins.
