COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 10 Maryland hosts Indiana and No. 1 ranked Northwestern. The Terps play the Hoosiers on Friday at 4 p.m., followed by a top-five match up against No. Northwestern on Sunday at 1 p.m. in College Park.

Fans planning to attend the Maryland vs Indiana game Friday can pay to park in lot XV1 which is right across the street from the field hockey complex or pay to park on the top level of Regents Drive Garage. Additionally, after 4:00 p.m. fans can park for free in lot 11B and 9B.Â

- Indiana is coming off a 3-2 loss against #18 Miami (Ohio). Teresa Ricci found the back of the net in the 36th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Inés Garcia Prado notched the assist. Hannah Riddle countered for the Hoosiers in the final seconds of the third quarter to tie the contest. Kate Longo recorded the assist.
- Mijntije Hagen who leads the Hoosiers with 18 points off five goals and eight assists, received Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors on October 6.
- As a team, Indiana is second in the conference for assists per game (2.75) and defensive saves (4). The Hoosiers are third in the Big Ten for goals per game, averaging 3.25.
- Northwestern is coming off its first loss of the season against No. 8-ranked Princeton. The top 10 teams were even in shots on goal, but Princeton excelled on its fewer, yet more lucrative, penalty corners and overall shots.
- Ashley Sessa leads the team with 29 points off eight goals and a team leading 13 assists. Sessa received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on September 29. Junior Ilse Tromp leads the Wildcats with 11 goals and has received Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors twice this season.
- Freshman goalie Juliana Boom has received three Big Ten weekly honors this season. She leads the nation in goals against Average (0.51)

- The Terps picked up their fourth ranked win of the season and improve to 8-2 all-time on the road against the Hawkeyes, with a 2-1 win at Iowa on Friday
- Jordyn Hollamon scored her team-high sixth goal and Maci Bradford's assists pushed her to a team-high of 16 points
- Maddie Vasilios made her first career start on Friday
- Maryland took its first lead early in the fourth quarter on Josie Hollamon's fourth goal of the year on a penalty corner. Both Bradford and Annemijn Klijnhout assisted on her timely goal.

- Freshman Jordyn Hollamon was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday.
- Big sister Josie Hollamon was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on October 13.
- Jordyn helped No. 12 Maryland secure the upset win over No. 10 ranked Iowa October 10. She scored a goal in the 43rd minute to tie the game 1-1 in the third quarter.
- Josie picks up her first conference honors this season. She scored the game winning goal against No. 10 Iowa off a penalty corner in the 47th minute. She also recorded her first defensive save of the year to help the Terps secure the 2-1 win over the Hawkeyes.

- On Friday, Maryland's defense, led by Ericka Morris-Adams, Josie Hollamon, and Fleur Knopert limited Iowa to three shots in the fourth quarter after Josie gave the Terps a 2-1 lead late in the third.
- Junior goalkeeper Alyssa Klebasko finished the game with nine saves, tying her career-high. She picked up her eighth win of the season in the 2-1 win over No. 10-ranked Iowa
- This season, Klebasko is third in the conference and 12th in the nation for goals against average (1.01) and has a 76% save percentage.
- Maryland is also third in the conference in shutouts per game (0.33) with three so far this season.
- Alyssa Klebasko currently is tied for third-all time in Maryland field hockey history for goals against average (1.01)
