New Leadership
- Maryland's six wins this season mark its best total in a year since going 9-8-3 in 2019.
- The Terrapins are 6-11 under head coach Michael Marchiano in 2025, winning three consecutive matches for the first time since Sept. 3-10 2023. All three of those wins also came in shutout fashion.
- Michael Marchiano was officially named head coach of the Maryland women's soccer program in December 2024 after serving as interim head coach during the latter part of the 2024 season. A Maryland alumnus and two-time national champion as a midfielder for the Terps in 2005 and 2008.
