Maryland Basketball Radio Show Schedule Announced For 2025-26 Season

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland Basketball Radio Show, presented by Thompson Creek Window Company, is set to make its 2025-26 season debut on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 12 PM at Ledo Pizza in College Park with first-year head coach Buzz Williams joining legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday.
Each show will air later that night or the next night on 105.7 FM The Fan in Baltimore and The TEAM 980 FM in Washington, D.C. The shows will also be available on www.UMTerps.com, the One Maryland app, and on-demand through the Hear The Turtle podcast.
The show will again feature a holistic look at Maryland basketball with women's head coach Brenda Frese on throughout the year as well as Maryland Hall of Fame Coach Gary Williams.
The men's season will officially open on Monday, November 3 against Coppin State (6:30 PM, BTN) at the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore as part of the Hall of Fame Series. The Terps will open their home schedule on Friday, November 7 against Georgetown (6 PM, FS1) in the annual Gold Out.
Frese and the women's program will host Point Park on Thursday, October 30 in an exhibition game starting at 6 PM. They will officially open the 2025-26 campaign on Monday, Nov. 3 against Loyola (7 PM, B1G+) at XFINITY Center.
The weekly radio show will broadcast all 14 shows from Ledo Pizza again this year. Each show will look ahead to upcoming games and break down those from the week prior.
Season tickets, mini-plans and single tickets for the 2025-26 season for both men's and women's basketball are currently on sale now and can be purchased online at www.umterps.com, by calling the Terrapin Ticket Office at 800-462-TERP, or by emailing for more information at terptix@umd.edu.
