Tip Times, TV Assignments Announced For Men’s Basketball

COLLEGE PARK, MD – With the 2025-26 season just under a month away, the Big Ten Conference announced today its league-wide television assignments as well as tip times.
 
Maryland will have four games on national networks with a possibility of a fifth. The Terps' Big Ten home opener against Michigan is slated to air on FOX on Saturday, December 13 starting at 8 PM. 

The Terps will have back-to-back games on CBS beginning with their Saturday, January 24 game at Michigan State (12 PM) before returning to XFINITY Center to host Purdue on Sunday, February 1 (1 PM).
 
The regular-season finale against Illinois at XFINITY Center will be televised on Fox on March 8 (3 PM).
 
Maryland's game at UCLA on Saturday, January 10 (8 PM) will be flexed between FS1 and FOX to open the Terps' swing trip to Los Angeles where they will also take on USC (Jan. 13, 10:30 PM).
 
The season-opener against Coppin State at CFG Arena in Baltimore as part of the Hall of Fame Series is slated for a 6:30 PM tip on BTN. Maryland's home opener against Georgetown on Friday, November 7 will tip at 6 PM on FS1.
 
The Terps' two scheduled games in the Players Era Championship Tournament against UNLV (Nov. 24, Midnight) will air on TNT, while Tuesday's game against Gonzaga (9:30 PM) will air on truTV.
 
Nine of Maryland's games this year will air on BTN, while eight are slated for FS1. The Terps will also have three games on Peacock with three others on B1G+.

Maryland is coming off a 27-9 campaign in 2024-25 which saw the Terps reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2016.
 
Season tickets for the 2025-26 season are now on sale starting as low as $199. Mini-packs and single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 7. Fans can purchase tickets at www.UMTerps.com, by calling the XFINITY Center Ticket Office (301-314-7060), or visiting the Ticket Office on Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 4 PM.
 
All games will be broadcast on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday, Chris Knoche, and Walt Williams calling the action.
