HUMBLE, TEXAS -- Junior Nicha Kanpai finished in the top 10 individually Tuesday at the Chevron Collegiate at The Golf Club of Houston. 

Kanpai shot a score of 209 (68-70-71), which was -7 overall. She parred or birdied 47 of 54 holes in the event. Kanpai picked up her third top 10 finish and fifth top 20 finish on the year.

Freshman Anna Pillard tied for 16th with a score of 211 (69-67-75), which was -5. She racked up 11 birdies in the event.

Freshman Chananyu Chowiwattana shot a score of 218 (69-71-78), which was +2. Graduate student Karla Elena Vazquez Setzer shot a 229 (73-73-83). Junior Tammy Wu shot earned a score of 237 (77-80-80). 

As a team, the Terrapins finished 11th of 16 teams with an even score of 864 (279-281-304).

Next, Maryland will compete in the Briar's Creek Invitational March 10-11 in Charleston, S.C.
