Terrapins to Head South for Briar’s Creek Invitational

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland women's golf team is set to travel to Charleston for the Briar's Creek Invitational this weekend at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek in John's Island, S.C.
The Terps will play Sunday and Tuesday, due to inclement weather in the area Monday. The course is par 72 and covers 6152 yards. Live scoring will be available here.
Graduate student Karla Elena Vázquez Setzer, juniors Nicha Kanpai and Daniela Burgos Ortega, freshmen Anna Pillard and Chananyu Chowiwattana will compete for Maryland. Senior Panassaya Somchit will compete as an individual.
Maryland will compete against tournament-host Charleston, Miami (FL), Furman, Old Dominion, and Florida State, Purdue, NC State, Minnesota, Eastern Carolina, Rutgers, Kent State, Penn State, Campbell, SMU, Iowa and Tulsa.
