INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Four Terps picked up event wins, a pair moved up on the all-time top-10 lists, and Armanie Coleman tied her school record in the 60 meters highlighting the Maryland women's track and field team's performances at the Indiana Fairground Invitational on Saturday.
 
Coleman took second in the 60 meter finals with a time of 7.43 seconds which tied her previously set school record. She won the prelims of the event clocking 7.45 seconds.
 
Moving up in the Maryland record books were Sam Payne and Katie Turk. Payne turned in the fifth-fastest time in program history in the 600 meters (1:33.15) to finish second overall. Turk won the mile with a time of 4:49.31 which ranks eight all-time and was a personal record.
 
In the weight throw, Chioma Njoku won the event with a toss of 20.40 meters. Kami Joi Hickson won the 600 meters (1:32.17) as part of a 1-2-3 finish for the Terps as she was followed by Payne and then Emma Pegg (1:33.48).
 
Tolu Akinduro rounded out the event winners on Saturday as she won the triple jump with a mark of 12.06 meters.
 
Other highlights of the day included a PR by Morgan Graham in the weight throw (4^th, 17.45m), Lucy Scothern taking third in the mile (4:59.85), Coleman placing third in the 200 meters (24.61 seconds), Jennessa Wolfe finishing fifth in the high jump (1.66 meters), Simone Cooper placing fourth in the shot put (12.62m), and Hannah Mack taking fourth in the 3,000 meters (10:07.61).

Maryland will return to action with a split schedule next weekend as several members will compete at the Valentine Invitational in Boston on Friday (2/14) while others head to Clemson's Tiger Paw Invitational on Friday and Saturday (2/14-15).
