COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The No. 4-seed Maryland women's basketball team (23-6) ) is the No. 4 seed and earned a double-bye in this week's Big Ten Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.The Terrapins will play in the second quarterfinal matchup of the day Friday, March 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET. Friday's game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

- Maryland earned the No. 4 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. The Terps have earned a top four seed and double-bye in 10 of 11 seasons in the league. Maryland is 22-5 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament.

- Maryland is coming off of a thrilling 93-90 overtime win over No. 12 Ohio State Sunday in College Park. Kaylene Smikle led the Terps with 26 points, Shyanne Sellers added 21 and Allie Kubek scored 17. Sarah Te-Biasu hit a three with :01 left in overtime to seal the win.
