COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Big Ten Conference office announced the 2025-26 men's basketball series match ups on Tuesday afternoon.
Maryland will play home-and-home series with Illinois, Iowa and Rutgers. The Terps will also face Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, and Washington at home only.
The road slate for league play will include Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.
Maryland's non-conference schedule as well as game dates, times, and television assignments will be announced at a later date. All games will be carried on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with legendary Voice of the Terps
Johnny Holliday, Chris Knoche, and Walt Williams calling the action.
The Terps are coming off a 27-9 campaign in 2024-25 which saw Maryland reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2016. In Big Ten play, Maryland finished second in the final standings with a 14-6 league record and reached the Big Ten Tournament semifinals for the first time since 2016.
On April 2, Maryland introduced new head coach
Buzz Williams who will enter his first year at the helm this season. Williams has led his programs to 11 NCAA Tournament appearances and 13 20-win seasons in 18 years as a head coach.
