Terrapins Notch Top 25 Recruiting Class Ranking

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland Women's Tennis team has received a top 25 ranking in Tennis Recruiting Networks 2025 Spring Recruiting Class Rankings.
The Terps recruiting class featuring Magdalena Baniak and Lucia Donnelly was ranked No. 25.
Baniak will come to College Park from Piasek Poland, having reached the final of the U18 Polish National Junior Championships Current ITF Women's Singles ranking of 850.
Donnelly, a five-star recruit according to Tennis Recruiting Network, comes to College Park from Locust Valley, NY. She has been as high as 44 in the Nation for her class. Reached the Semi-finals of the U18 USTA National Clay Court Championships last summer.
Along with the strong recruiting class, the Terrapins have added to next year's roster through the transfer portal, signing Oklahoma transfer Emma Ghirardato last week.
