Marchiano Announces 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland women's soccer head coach Michael Marchiano has announced the schedule for the 2025 season. The schedule features a non-conference home match against Florida, with Maryland also hosting Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio State, and Rutgers in conference play.

"We're excited about the 2025 schedule and the opportunities it presents to challenge our team as we continue to lay a strong foundation for the future of Maryland women's soccer" said head coach Michael Marchiano. "Our non-conference opponents will push us in the right ways, and the Big Ten always demands our absolute best. We are especially looking forward to competing at home on Ludwig Field - we want it to become one of the toughest places to play in the country as we move the program forward, and that starts with how we perform and how we connect with our fans."

The Terrapins open the season at home on August 14 with a match against Lehigh. The two programs opened the 2024 season against one another, with the Terps winning 2-0. This begins a three-game home stand to start the season for the Terps, with matches against Saint Francis (Aug. 17) and UMBC (8/21).

Maryland hits the road for the first time  on Aug. 24, with a trip to Norfolk, Virginia against Old Dominion. The Terps then return to College Park for a pair of games, facing Navy (8/28) and Florida (Aug. 31). The Terps close out non-conference play on the road in 2025 with a match against James Madison on Sept. 4.

The Terps begin conference play on the road in 2025 with a trip to Penn State on Sept. 11. This is followed by a pair of home matches in the Big Ten against Indiana (Sept. 18) and Purdue (Sept. 21).

The Terps make their first trip out to the West Coast in conference play to take on UCLA (Sept. 25). The Terps will continue its journey in the City of Angels on Sept. 28, closing out the trip against USC.

The Terps return to College Park for a game against Illinois (Oct. 5), before heading back on the road for their final two road games of the regular season. The Terps head to the Midwest to take on Iowa (Oct. 9) and Nebraska (Oct. 12).

The Terps will end the regular season with three-consecutive home games. The home stand starts with a battle against Michigan (Oct. 16), followed by a visit from Ohio State (Oct. 19). The Terps close out the regular season by welcoming Rutgers to Ludwig Field (Oct. 26).

All game times during the season are subject to change, with television designations announced at a later date.
