- Michael Marchiano was officially named head coach of the Maryland women's soccer program in December 2024 after serving as interim head coach during the latter part of the 2024 season. A Maryland alumnus and two-time national champion as a midfielder for the Terps in 2005 and 2008, Marchiano brings both championship experience and a deep connection to the program as he looks to guide Maryland soccer back to the national stage.
- Marchiano joined the Maryland women's program as an assistant coach in November 2023, helping the Terrapins build a strong 34-9-3 record and reach consecutive NCAA Quarterfinal appearances before stepping into the head coaching role.
