COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland volleyball will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The Terps will face Davidson on Saturday, September 13, followed by a contest with Wake Forest on Sunday, September 14.
First serve for Saturday's game is slated for 3 p.m. ET, while Sunday's showdown will begin at 1 p.m. ET. The matchup against Wake Forest will be streamed on ACCNX. The other game will not be streamed, but live stats will be made available.
Big weekly awards
- Duru Gökçen earned her first Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Terps to a 3-0 weekend at UMBC.
- She also finished as UMBC Tournament MVP, totaling 20 kills and 21 blocks across three matches. Gökçen recorded five blocks in Friday's sweep of Old Dominion, eight blocks and eight kills in a 3-1 win over William & Mary, and nine kills with six blocks in the sweep of UMBC. Gökçen was additionally recognized as the Solomon Eye Terp of the Week.
Duru Gökçen was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

- Maryland finished a 3-0 weekend at UMBC, defeating Old Dominion, William & Mary, and UMBC over three days. On Sunday, the Terps closed the weekend with a four-set win over UMBC.
- Duru Gökçen was named Tournament MVP after three standout defensive performances, totaling nine kills and six blocks on Sunday. Ally Williams also earned All-Tournament Team honors.
- Ajack Malual led the team with 20.5 points, including 14 kills, seven digs, four aces, and five block assists. Both Eva Rohrbach and Addie Canady recorded three aces in the win. Rohrbach also added eight kills and 10 blocks, excelling on both offense and defense.

- Ajack Malual leads the Terps in kills per set with 3.35 after five matches. The senior transfer tallied 14 kills against UMBC on Sunday.
- Lilly Wagner continues to lead the Terps in assists in her first season, averaging 7.78 per set. The redshirt freshman recorded two double-doubles this past weekend in three games.
- On the defensive side, Ally Williams is averaging 3.65 digs per set. She posted a career-high 22 digs against Coastal Carolina to open the season.
- Duru Gökçen leads the Terps with 1.48 blocks per set. The sophomore was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

- Maryland has a 10-16 all-time against Wake Forest. The two teams last matched up in 2018 where the Terps won in three sets.
