
Big Ten Announces 2025-26 Men’s Basketball Schedule

COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Big Ten Conference announced the Maryland men's basketball team's 2025-26 conference schedule on Thursday. The Terps host their first home conference game on Saturday, Dec. 13 against Michigan and the home slate features six weekend home games overall at XFINITY Center.
In addition to Michigan, Maryland will host Oregon (Friday, Jan. 2), Indiana (Wednesday, Jan. 7), Penn State (Sunday, Jan. 8), Purdue (Sunday, Feb. 1), Ohio State (Thursday, Feb. 5), Iowa (Wednesday, Feb. 11), Washington (Saturday, Feb. 21), Rutgers (Sunday, March 1), and Illinois (Sunday, March 8).
Tip times and TV assignments will be announced in the near future.
Maryland will open the league slate on the road this year when it heads to Iowa on Saturday, Dec. 6. January will feature a California road swing as the Terps head to UCLA (Saturday, Jan. 10) and USC (Tuesday, Jan. 13). The Terps will also play at Illinois (Wednesday, Jan. 21), Michigan State (Saturday, Jan. 24), Minnesota (Sunday, Feb. 8), Rutgers (Sunday, Feb. 15), Northwestern (Wednesday, Feb. 18), Nebraska (Wednesday, Feb. 25), and Wisconsin (Wednesday, March 4).
The Terps will host UMBC on Oct. 27 in an exhibition game at XFINITY Center before opening the year against Coppin State (Monday, Nov. 3) at CFC Arena in Baltimore. The home opener will be Friday, Nov. 7 against Georgetown. The non-conference slate also features match-up at Marquette (Saturday, Nov. 15) and at Virginia (Saturday, Dec. 20). Additionally, Maryland will take part in the Players Era Championship Tournament from Nov. 24-26 featuring games against UNLV and Gonzaga.
Maryland is coming off a 27-9 campaign in 2024-25 which saw the Terps reach the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2016.
Season tickets for the 2025-26 season are now on sale starting as low as $199. Mini-packs and single-game tickets will go on sale to Terrapin Club members beginning Oct. 2 and to the general public on Oct. 7. Fans can purchase tickets at www.UMTerps.com, by calling the XFINITY Center Ticket Office (301-314-7060), or visiting the Ticket Office on Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 4 PM.
