COLLEGE PARK, MD -Â The Maryland Terrapins indoor track and field team will close out January at the Penn State National Open on Jan. 30-31 at the Ashenfelter III Indoor Track in University Park, PA. The meet will be streamed on B1G+ starting at 4:00 PM on Friday and all day on Saturday.

A peek at the scheduLe
- This weekend's meet marks the end of three meets in January and the second time the Terps have traveled to University Park to compete this season.
- The Terrapins will begin the month of February traveling on Feb. 6-7 to Philadelphia for the Penn Classic followed by a trip on Feb. 13-14 to Clemson, South Carolina for the Tiger Paw Invitational.

- Maya Valmon recorded the sixth fastest time this season in the NCAA for the 400 meters at 52.97 seconds, which also placed her second all-time in the event.
- Maren Iski hit a personal best in the 3,000 meters running a time of 10:14.51.
- Ogechi Uzoukwu turned in a personal best at a time of 8.84 seconds in the 60 meters hurdles.
- Jasmine Sharps recorded a personal best in the 60 meter dash invitational with a time of 7.76 seconds.
- Eva Rogers finished the mile and now holds seventh place all-time in the Maryland record book after running the event in 4:48.42.
- Naaema Robinson turned in a time of 24.41 seconds in the 200 meters to put her at ninth all-time in the Maryland record book.
- Ka'Nai Bey, Maya. Mosley, Taylor Riley, Maya Valmon turned in a time of 3:40.33 in the 4x400 to put them at ninth all-time in the Maryland record books.
- Jennessa Wolfe took first place in the high jump invitational at 1.73 meters.
- Armanie Coleman placed first in the 200-meter invitational with a time of 24.15 seconds.
- Leonora Lynn turned in a time of 17:25.36 in the 5,000 meter invitational moving her into tenth all-time in the Maryland books.
Last time at the penn state national open
- Maya Valmon placed sixth in the 200 meters (24.67).
- Katie Turk ran the second fastest time in program history in the 3000 meters going 9:30.75 seconds to finish ninth overall.
- Katerina Talanova placed fourth in the 1,000 meters (2:54.56).
- Kami Joi Hickson posted the second-fastest time in program for the 600 meters (1:31.26).
- Lydia Robling finished second with a time of 1:33.42 which is the eighth fastest all-time in the 600 meters.
- Chioma Njoku was the highest finisher for the Terps, taking second in the weight throw with a mark of 20.39 meters.

- Twelve Terrapins are ranked among the program's all-time top 10 on the women's indoor performance lists.
- Armanie Coleman holds program records in the 60-meter dash (7.43) and 200-meter dash (23.69).
- Victoria Teasley ranks second in the 60 meters (7.45).
- Maya Valmon ranks second all-time in the indoor 200 meters (23.92), fifth in the 300 meters (38.86), and second in the 400 meters (52.97).
- Rose Coats owns the program records in the 3,000 meters (9:18.23) and 5,000 meters (15:54.62).
- Maya Mosley, along with alums Katie Turk, Emma Pegg and Emmi Simon, is tied for 10th all-time in the distance medley relay (11:45.76).
- The 4x400 relay team of Ka'nai Bey, Valmon, alum Kami Joi Hickson and alum Sam Payne holds the seventh-fastest time in program history (3:40.05).
- Jennessa Wolfe ranks 10th in the high jump (5 feet, 8.75 inches).
- Tolu Akinduro ranks third in the triple jump (41 feet, 10.75 inches).
- Leonora Lynn ranks tenth in the 5000 meters with a time of (17:25.36)
- Eva Rogers moved to seventh all-time in the mile at a time of (4:48.42)
