The Terrapins will honor seniors
Yarden Garzon,
Mir McLean and
Saylor Poffenbarger prior to Sunday's game. The Terps will also recognize senior managers and seniors from the scout team, band, cheer team and dance team at Sunday's game.
The Terps will debut exclusive limited-edition Script Shift uniforms at Sunday's game. These state-of-the-art uniforms feature an icy white base with iridescent numbers and Maryland spelled out across the chest. The Under Armour and Big Ten logos will match those elements on the jersey, while the shorts feature the Maryland M-Bar logo in the iridescent-blend as well. Maryland will also be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day Sunday and will a special autograph session pregame on the 3rd floor concourse featuring some of the Terrapin women's athletic teams. In honor of February being American Heart Month, the University of Maryland Medical System and the American Heart Association will be conducting blood pressure screenings and discussing the different aspects of heart health with fans on the concourse pregame. Fans can pick up a red heart health support ribbon at the marketing tables, while supplies last. Fans can also grab a heart stress ball on their way out of the game, while supplies last.Â

The Terrapins overcame a 19-point deficit to win at No. 10 Ohio State, 76-75, Sunday. That tied their largest deficit overcome since 2019 and their first road win over a top 10 team since 2022. - Head coach Brenda Frese is in her 24th season in College Park. She's led the Terrapins to a record of 628-175 (.782), 14 conference titles, 21 NCAA Tournament bids in 23 postseasons, three Final Fours, seven Elite Eights, 12 Sweet Sixteens and the 2006 NCAA Championship.Â
- Frese owns a career record of 685-205 (.770) over her 27 years as a head coach.
- Frese was named National Coach of the Year by the AP, The Athletic and ESPN at the end of the 2020-21 season. In October 2021, Frese was the first woman inducted into the Washington DC Metro Basketball Hall of Fame.
