MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Maryland closed out a last-minute, 67-62, win over Minnesota on Sunday afternoon. The final pendulum swing in a back-and-forth game that featured eight lead changes went Maryland's way as the Terps (9-14, 2-10 Big Ten) secured the conference victory. Diggy Coit put Maryland ahead with a huge three with 26.8 seconds remaining to seal the Terps' second Big Ten win of the season.
The Golden Gophers hit eight of their 14 total three-pointers in a back-and-forth first half that saw Minnesota cling to a 33-32 lead at the break. Coit hit a pair of Maryland's five first-half threes as he led the Terps with nine in the opening frame. Isaac Asuma led Minnesota with 18 points as the Golden Gophers fell to 11-13 (4-9 Big Ten) on the season.

Maryland shot a remarkable 50% (14-of-28) from the floor in the win. The Terps outscored the Golden Gophers 11-2 in the final three minutes of the game to snatch a win from the jaws of defeat.
