Lauren LaPointe Named Solomon Eye Terp of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2025–26 season, a Maryland student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both on and off the field of competition is selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.
This week's honoree is junior Lauren Lapointe of the women's lacrosse team.
Lauren had a record-breaking week, scoring 11 goals across two games to help Maryland remain unbeaten. Against #7 Johns Hopkins, LaPointe recorded a career-high 10 points with seven goals and three assists. She closed out the weekend on Sunday with four more goals in a win over #21 Penn State.
