COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Maryland men's basketball team will open the 2026 TIAA Big Ten Tournament against Oregon on Tuesday at the United Center in Chicago. The game will tip at 5:00 PM ET (4:00 PM CT) and will be streamed on Peacock. Fans can also listen to the game on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with legendary Voice of the Terps

The winner of Tuesday's match-up will advance to face No. 9 seed Iowa on Wednesday at 12 PM (Peacock).
Maryland enters the tournament as the No. 17 seed, while Oregon is the No. 16 seed. The other first round match-up will be No. 18 seed Penn State against No. 15 seed Northwestern.
The Terps are 6-10 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament and reached the semifinals last season. This will be the first time Maryland has ever faced Oregon in the tournament. The Ducks won the earlier meeting this year, 64-54, on Jan. 2 at XFINITY Center.
