COLLEGE PARK, MD- No. 10 Maryland (4–4, 1–1 B1G) returns home for its third conference match up of the 2026 campaign, hosting the No. 9 Ohio State Buckeyes (8–2, 1–1 B1G) at 6 p.m. in SECU Stadium. The Terps are coming off their first Big Ten win of the 2026 campaign, defeating Michigan 14–8 in Ann Arbor.
It will be Senior Day, and the Terps will honor 16 seniors and graduate students.
The 2026 campaign represents the 101st season of Maryland men's lacrosse. The program has produced 532 All-Americans, appeared in 30 Final Fours, and captured four NCAA national championships. The Terps have finished .500 or better in every season.

- The reigning national runner-up Terrapins are coming off an NCAA-best 22nd consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and their 30th Final Four overall, the most of any program. Maryland advanced to the NCAA Championship game for the ninth time in the last 14 tournaments and the 18th time in program history, beating Syracuse 14-8 in the NCAA Semifinal. The Terps finished 14–4 and recorded double-digit wins for the 22nd straight season, the longest active streak in NCAA Division I men's lacrosse.
- Maryland heads into its third Big Ten matchup of the 2026 campaign following a 14–8 victory at Michigan. Graduate attacker Eric Spanos powered the Terps' offense with a career-high eight goals. All four of Maryland's second-quarter goals came from Spanos, marking the first four-goal quarter by a Terp since 2021. His eight goals are the most by a Terp since Jared Bernhardt scored eight against Michigan in 2021, and the most by any Big Ten player in a game since Michael Boehm (Michigan vs. Ohio State, 2023).

- Nick Myers is in his 18th season as head coach of Ohio State men's lacrosse team in 2026, having led the program since 2009. - Maryland played in two of the three highest-attended regular-season games of the 2025 men's college lacrosse season, highlighted by a crowd of 10,137 fans when the Terps faced Notre Dame in Atlanta.
- The Terps ranked second nationally in home attendance despite playing the fewest home games among the top five programs, drawing a total of 28,079 fans.
